Business cards are on the way and prints are being printed this afternoon!
Im thinking about printing off a few sticker packs just to see how they go over.

Fanexpo deets are as follows:

Where: Metro Toronto Convention Center (closest subway is Union)
When: August 23rd to the 16th

Squaracters will be in Artist Alley at table A90 (map can be downloaded at the official website)
I will have All of my Squaracters available as collector cards. They are already in plastic card sleeves and have magnets on the backs so they are all ready to stick on your fridge or other magnetic surfaces. There will be deals when cards are bough in larger numbers.
A variety of posters will also be available.

Prices will range between 3 and 20 dollars so there is something for everybody!
Take a peek through my gallery or my blog and let me know if there is anything you would like me to set aside for you!

I will be taking requests for commissions so get yours in now! I will Squaracterize you, your friends or family, your favorite character from comics, videogames or tv or even your own original characters!
Commissions and originals will be a flat rate of $80 dollars per character until the end of August just to maintain easy accounting on my end.so take advantage of me this month!

My master list is well over 400 so I will be getting around to as many as possible. I have no plans to stop this project any time soon!

If you would like to see anybody in particular just let me know and I can bump it to the top of the list!

My next bunch will include Batman, Princess Bubblegum, Marcelene, Poison Ivy, Bat Girl, Wonder Woman, Asami, Iroh,  just to name a few off the top of my head.

Hi folks! Im going to be uploading some posters that will be for sale at Fanexpo this August . Also, I will slowly be replacing all of the characters with high quality scans. Much better than a cell phone snapshot.

I have been getting some special requests and they will all be finished after Fanexpo or as soon as im done preparing for it. I have a contest winner who wants a Batgirl and a lovely lady who I owe a Wonder Woman. Batman characters are on the way as well as X men and a few more Avatar buddies.

The Grand list sits at over 400 so if I dont get around to one that you would like to see, leave a comment and I will bump it up the list! Pay me and it gets bumped to the to the top haha!

Wow guys, thank you so much for all the support! I feel I might need to explain myself a little bit.

THE ORIGIN STORY:

In February of 2011, I entered in to an art challenge on a creative forum. I was having some serious artist block and needed to kickstart myself. The challenge was to set a personal deadline and submit a piece of new art everyday. For the whole month.

I tell ya, even the most seasoned artist will find this exhausting.

So halfway through the month I was getting pretty worn out and didn't have any new ideas. I was trying to get something very different out every day. blind contours, digital painting, oils, or just pull a good ol' Pollock and throw stuff around. Then I noticed the cookie cutter that was hanging around my brushes; It was square.

I was watching one of my favourite cartoons so I thought id make some funny painting of the characters. I posted these terrible little guys and the feedback was great. So I decided to do more. They didn't have much personality but people loved them and I was commissioned to re-create a series of OCs. I used the payment to fund my first table at Toronto's Fan-Expo.

It went very VERY well!

So I made a stencil that made sure each character was uniform and got to work! Im now standing at 97 Squaracters!
Did I mention? They used to be called Squareheads. Who can guess why I changed the name? Oops...

So Here I am, Squares have taken over my life and after this year's Fan-Expo in August, i will be taking a month or two off (commissions not included) from Squaracters and getting back to canvases and non-objective acrylics.

Im also thinking of Writing and illustration a children's book. It would require a Kickstarter. Good idea? Feedback?
